Desacetylcephapirin sodium (Deacetylcephapirin sodium) is an active metabolite of Cephapirin (HY-A0153A). Desacetylcephapirin sodium has antimicrobial against S. aureus and coagulase-negative staphylococci mastitis pathogen^{[1] [2]} .

Desacetylcephapirin sodium exhibits inhibitory activity on Streptococcus dysgalactiae, with MIC₅₀s both of 0.25 μg/mL for clinical and subclinical bacterial strain^[2] .
Desacetylcephapirin sodium exhibits inhibitory activity on coagulase-negative staphylococci mastitis pathogen, with MIC₅₀s both of 0.12 μg/mL for clinical and subclinical bacterial strain^[2] .
