| Description |
Papyracillic acid, a fungal metabolite, a Penicillic acid analog, is a nonselective herbicide. Papyracillic acid has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, nematicidal, and phytotoxic effects[1] . |
|---|---|
| In Vitro |
Papyracillic acid at the concentration of 1 mg/mL is phytotoxic both for the host plant and a number of nonhost plants of the fungus. Papyracillic acid is active against bacteria (Xanthomonas campestris and Bacillus subtilis) and the fungus Candida tropicalis at 6 μg/disk[1] . MCE has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only. |
